Looping You In

The new logo utilizes playful yarn strings to connect the "d" and "y" of Downtown Yarns, creating a dynamic visual that speaks to the essence of knitting and crocheting. This motif inspired a custom typography system that mirrored the organic curves of yarn.

Yarn-Inspired Design

Drawing from the beauty of hand-dyed yarns, the color palette is a blend of nature-inspired hues. Horizon and Meadow evoke the calming tranquility of a serene landscape, while Solar and Stormy add a touch of energy and depth. These colors collectively reflect the warmth and creativity inherent in the world of yarn.

Our photography treatment highlighted ethical sourcing by illustrating the yarn's journey from sheep to skein.

We also crafted promotional posters for crochet classes and a range of branded merchandise, all unified by our cohesive design elements.
