NYC Chinatown Banner 2026
“Chinatown Banner 2026” is a vibrant series of banners displayed throughout New York City’s Chinatown. Created as part of an initiative to enhance the neighborhood’s festive atmosphere, the project introduces a visual language that engages a younger audience while remaining welcoming to all generations. As an ongoing series, each year’s design celebrates the Chinese zodiac through contemporary interpretations. Following previous editions featuring the Dragon and Snake, this year’s banners spotlight the Year of the Horse. The design continues to blend rich cultural symbolism with dynamic geometric illustrations creating a cohesive yet evolving visual identity for Chinatown.
